Configuring Nectir AI

When using dynamic registration in D2L, it automates most of the steps of the Tool creation process, but the rest is the same as the manual registration method.

Creating the Tool

  1. Within D2L, go to Admin Tools > Manage Extensibility
  2. Go to LTI Advantage tab
  3. Select Register Tool
  4. Choose Dynamic registration
  5. Input the following information:
  6. Edit your newly created tool and add the following parameters:
    • Enabled: True
    • Extensions:
      • Deep Linking: True
    • Roles:
      • Send Institution Role: True
    • Click Save
  7. From here, you can follow the same instructions as the manual registration from Creating the Deployment
