A pre-built Canvas module you can drop into any faculty resource hub or onboarding course. Faculty and staff click through three short pages and leave knowing what Nectir AI is, how to open it, and how to build their first Assistant. Comes as an .imscc file and imports in minutes.

What’s Included

The module contains three pages, designed to be read in order:

Welcome to Nectir AI

What Nectir AI is, what faculty and staff can do with it inside and beyond the classroom, who it’s for, and how it handles privacy

Accessing Nectir AI

Two paths to open Nectir: through Canvas course navigation (recommended) or directly at ai.nectir.io

Getting Started with Nectir AI

The three-step path to a first Assistant: create a Group, customize and upload content, invite users. Includes embedded video tutorials and links to support resources

Add the Module to Canvas

Download .imscc File

Import this file into Canvas to add the full faculty and staff onboarding module
1

Download the File

Click the link above to download the .imscc course file.
2

Import into Canvas

Open the Canvas course where you want the module to live (your faculty resource hub, an onboarding shell, or any course of your choosing). Go to SettingsImport Course Content. Select Canvas Course Export Package and upload the file.
3

Review the Module

Once the import finishes, navigate to Modules. You’ll see a new module titled Nectir AI containing the three pages in order.
Open each page to confirm it imported cleanly before sharing with your team.
4

Customize as Needed

The pages work out of the box. If your institution has specific access instructions, support contacts, or naming conventions, edit the relevant page in Pages before publishing.
5

Publish and Share

Publish the module and point faculty and staff to it: link from your faculty resource hub, your LMS support page, or include it in onboarding emails.
The module sits alongside whatever resources your institution already publishes in Canvas for faculty apps. It doesn’t replace your existing hub: it plugs into it.
